
Telemedicine Platform for Remote Patient Consultations
Medkitdoc is a telemedicine platform designed to connect patients with doctors for remote consultations. The goal was to provide secure, real-time medical interactions with integrated diagnostic tools. Our team helped scale the platform and modernize its communication infrastructure.
The existing telehealth solution faced latency issues during video sessions and lacked interoperability with medical devices. The client needed a compliant, high-performing platform capable of managing patient records and doctor consultations in real time. We focused on: Enabling high-quality video consultations; Integrating with Bluetooth medical devices; Improving backend scalability and uptime; Ensuring HIPAA and GDPR compliance.
We rebuilt the platform using React.js and WebRTC for real-time communication. The backend, developed with Node.js and Python, supported encrypted data exchange and scalable microservices. Integrated APIs allowed synchronization with EHR systems and medical devices. The result was a secure, responsive telemedicine experience.
