Healthcare Mobile App for Autism & Developmental Care
Compassly is a healthcare mobile application developed to support autism and developmental therapy programs. The platform helps clinicians, therapists, and caregivers digitize behavioral assessments, monitor progress, and optimize therapy plans. Today, Compassly is used by more than 80 clinics and therapy centers, improving coordination and transparency in care delivery.
Before Compassly, therapy documentation and session tracking were handled manually through spreadsheets and paper forms, creating inefficiencies and data inconsistencies. The client needed a 2 HIPAA-compliant mobile app that would digitize these processes, automate session reporting, and make real-time data accessible to clinicians, caregivers, and parents — all while remaining scalable and secure.
We designed a robust, cross-platform solution built in Flutter with a Node.js backend and Firebase for real-time data synchronization. The app supports offline access with auto-sync, ensuring uninterrupted work during therapy sessions. We introduced an AI-powered analytics module to assess progress trends and generate individualized recommendations. Administrative dashboards allowed clinic managers to monitor workload, track compliance, and optimize resource allocation. The infrastructure was deployed on AWS with strict security and encryption standards for healthcare data.
